A CRICKET lover has put together a team for a charity match next month to raise money for a hospice charity.
Neale Hatch, from Marlow Bottom, will lead his XI onto the field at Little Marlow on August 10 against a side from the King’s Head pub, which is opposite the rural cricket ground.
The 30-over match is in aid of Sue Ryder, a cause close to the heart of the keen cricketer.
He said: "We have chosen to support Sue Ryder because my business partner’s husband died at the Nettlebed hospice last year.
"We felt he was really well looked after so we wanted to support this great cause in his memory. Please do come along for what will be a fun day out for all the family."
The match starts at 2pm on Sunday, August 10 and will be followed by a barbeque and raffle.
