STAFF at Waitrose in Beaconsfield, were presented with a plaque for their charity fundraising over the last year.
Waitrose were rewarded with an engraved plaque after choosing Iain Rennie Hospice at Home as their charity this year.
Over two days and, through the generosity of Waitrose customers, almost £1,000 was also raised, while another £1,000 was made at a Cheese and Wine Call My Bluff evening at St Teresa’s church.
Tom Johnson, who presented the plaque on behalf of the Beaconsfield Fundraising Group, said: “The generosity Waitrose has shown to us has enabled us to raise a huge amount of money.
“We are extremely grateful for their help and hope the plaque goes some way to showing this.”
