THE relationship between a small French town and Beaconsfield has continued to grow after councillors joined the new Mayor of Langres for a special parade.
Mayor of Beaconsfield Steve Jones met with Langres (Champagne-Ardenne region) Mayor Sophie Delong while on a trip to the town they are twinned with.
He was joined by deputy mayor John Read, leader of the council Alan Walters and two members of the Beaconsfield Twinning Association.
During their visit to France in early July the Beaconsfield representatives took part in a traditional parade of police, military and firemen.
