A COUPLE have been charged in relation to £200,000 being taken from two businesses in Bourne End and Chesham.
Lynne Aplin (formerly known as Pleaden), 47 and Bernard Trumpet, 52, both from Spring Close, High Wycombe were charged on Sunday by police.
Aplin was charged with four counts of abuse of position and Trumpet was charged with three counts of acquiring criminal property.
The charges relate to £200,000 being taken from Flowerland Garden Centre in Bourne End between January 2011 and November 2012 and Silverson Machines in Waterside, Chesham between November 2012 and December 2013.
The couple were arrested on December 3 last year and have been bailed to High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on August 18.
