A TEAM of ‘Furious Pedalers’ from Marlow have raised over £5000 after completing an 874-mile coast to coast ride – after making their minds up which way to travel.

Friends Andy Gajraj and Duncan MacGregor, aka the Furious Pedalers, made the gruelling trek from John’O’Groats to Lands End for charity with friend Jason Batten following behind in a support car.

The seven-day ride took the riders through a huge variety of terrains before touching down in Cornwall following a 125-mile a day cycle.

And the pair would have been arriving in Scotland had they not decided to switch directions just days before setting off due to prevailing weather conditions.

Funds will be split evenly between The Royal Berks Charity and Pancreatic Cancer UK.
