PRINCES Risborough School got its best set of A Level results yet.

There was a 100 per cent pass rate and 72 per cent got an A* to C, with the number of top grades rising significantly.

Pete Rowe, executive headteacher, said: "I am particularly pleased with the A*s that have been achieved showing that PRS does really well by its brightest students- all of whom are now moving on to top universities."

Claire Buxton got A*s and an A in English, classical civilization and geography, Amber Coates received A*s in English and geography and a B in classical civilization and Haithe Spenle got A*s and B in textiles, classical civilization and English.

Mr Rowe added: "The school’s BTec results are equally impressive with, again, 100 per cent passing and the equivalent of a 93 per cent A* to C pass rate.

"AS results are also very strong showing that high quality learning is embedded throughout the sixth form. With our new sixth form facilities soon to be opened we are confident that PRS is the first choice for all students in the area."
