WINNERS of a technology competition which took place 16 years ago are being sought again by the organisers.

Budding engineers and scientists from the Amersham School and the-then Chesham Park College - now the Chiltern Hills Academy - took part in a series of challenges for the Rotary Technology Tournament in 1998.

But members of the Chesham, Amersham and Great Missenden Rotary Clubs, which organised that first-ever event, don't have any details of the names of the winners.

They're now trying to trace the winners in the photo and find out what happened to them.

The presidents of the three clubs, Brian Betts, Les Lee and John Newton, are all pictured with the winners.

The tournament saw teams of four design and technology students compete in a full day out of school event to devise and build a solution to an unseen technical task against the clock.

If you recognise yourself or other young people in the photo contact Les Lee on 01494 785076 or les.lee@zen.co.uk.
