A FOOD takeaway planned for Amersham will house a Pizza Hut.
The national fast food chain are the company interested in moving into a shop that is set to be vacated by the end of this month.
As we reported earlier this week, plans have been submitted to Chiltern District Council asking for a change of use from retail to hot food takeaway for the Roberts Menswear store in Hill Avenue. The property developer which made the application is acting on behalf of Pizza Hut.
Documents submitted as part of the application state Pizza Hut have looked at three other business premises in Amersham but found them all unsuitable.
Roberts Menswear is due to close later this month.
A decision on whether to allow the conversion of the shop is likely to be made at the end of next month.
