PET owners are being invited to bring their pooches to the South Bucks RSPCA 'Mutt Strut' to help raise cash for unwanted and abused animals in the area next month.

The event starts at noon on Sunday, September 7, from the historic Royal Standard of England pub at Forty Green, near Beaconsfield, where those attending the event can park for free.

You will be able to choose from two circular walks; either a mainly level, half-hour 0.6 mile (1Km) ramble around the nearby fields and woods or a longer two-mile (3Km) undulating route taking up to an hour. Please bring wellies or stout walking shoes as the routes are likely to be muddy, particularly if it’s been raining and afterwards you can enjoy lunch at the pub where your four-legged friend is also most welcome.

South Bucks RSPCA raises its own funds through charitable giving, relying upon donations from people and businesses to enable them to continue their work. More information can be found on www.rspca-southbucks.org.uk.

To pre-register for the Mutt Strut and obtain sponsorship forms call Helen Fothergill on 07990 677 413 or email hfothergill@hotmail.com; donations can also be made online at www.everyclick.com//southbucksrspca.
