SOUTH Bucks Hospice, which provides expert care for local people with life-limiting illnesses, is holding a grand reopening event of its Hazlemere shop tomorrow.

The charity shop on Park Parade closed in doors back in June to allow for building work to go ahead safely and the grand opening event was original due to take place on July 12.

Sadly the shop was hit be thieves and the grand opening event had to be postponed.

More than £400, gold and raffle prizes for the grand opening event were stolen.

Generous members of the High Wycombe Facebook group managed to fundraise over £345 for the charity following news of the break in.

The shop on Park Parade will be welcoming customers on Saturday and thanking them for their support with a range of free activities including face painting and a children’s lucky dip.

There will also be a raffle that’s free to enter and the top prizes are a London bus tour for a family of four with cream team, a paint balling voucher for 10 people and a ticket for a family of four to the Roald Dahl museum.
