THERE is now less than a week until the annual County Fayre is opened in Beaconsfield on Monday, August 25.
The day of fun will officially start at 11am when TV chef Mary Berry and the Mayor of Beaconsfield, Steve Jones, declare the event open.
As well as the opening, there will also be a Dog Show and a Stretcher Race for children and adults.
Show Timetable:
- 10am – Dog Show registration (pedigrees)
- 10.30am – Dog Show registration (all other breeds and classes)
- 10.50am – Church bell ringing
- 11am – Grand opening by Mary Berry and Cllr Jones
- 11am (until 4pm) – Church tower visits
- 11am (until 1pm) – Dog Show jumping
- 12pm – Hearing Dogs demonstration
- 12pm – Children’s Stretcher Race registration
- 12.30pm – Stretcher Race registration
- 1pm – Children’s Stretcher Race
- 1.30pm (until 2pm) – Oscar the Clown and Punch and Judy
- 2pm – Stretcher Race
- 2.30pm (until 3pm) – Oscar the Clown
- 3.30pm – Stretcher Race results
- 3.45pm – Raffle draw
- 4pm – Balloon race release
- Fayre finishes
- 5pm – Car Park at The Beaconsfield School closes
