MISBOURNE School students achieved outstanding GCSE results as nearly 80 per cent achieved five or more A*-C passes.
Emily Caldicott was the Great Missenden school's top pupil, achieving six A* grades and five A passes.
Top performing boys were Adam Cox, who secured five A*s and three A,s, and Peter Warden, who achieved three A*s and five As.
Overall 77 per cent of pupils achieved five or more A*-C grades and 90 per cent of year ten students managing the top grades in algebra.
Headteacher Robert Preston said: "My students have done really well, particularly in the light of all the examination changes this year. "It is an absolute delight to share their achievements and most of them are continuing into our expanding Sixth Form. The building programme is already underway to give them brand new, state-of- the- art facilities within the year."
