A MAN has been charged with a series of child cruelty offences against a young boy.
Ben Stevens, 33, of no fixed abode, was charged on Thursday relating to a case in High Wycombe.
The charges are as follows:
• Four counts of assaulting / ill treating / neglecting a child to cause unnecessary suffering or injury
• One count of causing or allowing a child to suffer serious physical harm
• One count of wounding with intent
The charges relate to injuries caused to a young boy between January and May 2013.
Stevens was remanded in custody to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on August 29.
A 35-year-old woman was charged with the same offences on August 6 and appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, August 20.
She was remanded in custody to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on 27 August.
