A FUN day hosted by the Deputy Mayor of High Wycombe raised £1000 for charity.
About 300 people attended the family fun day held at Millbrook Combined School in Sands on Sunday.
Cllr Mohammed Hanif said it raised £1000 for the Mayor’s Appeal, which is raising money for Diabetes UK and The Cardiomyopathy Association.
The Deputy Mayor said: “We had stalls, children’s activities and good weather – it was very well attended event and everyone enjoyed it.”
The mayor of the town, Cllr Khalil Ahmed, who was also in attendance at the event, is hosting a community fayre at Hamilton Academy in Hampden Road from 12pm on Saturday.
