ONE of the runaway comedic successes of 2014, Bridget Christie brings her award-winning show A Bic For Her to Norden Farm next week.

After being a familiar name on the comedy circuit for a decade, Bridget has broken through to the mainstream in the last twelve months. She has performed eight consecutive Edinburgh Fringe shows.

Her 2013 show won the Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award, the South Bank Arts Award for Best Comedy and the Chortle Award for Best Show. It was also the top-selling comedy show at London’s Soho Theatre.

Bridget has had her own BBC Radio 4 show, Bridget Christie Minds the Gap. She has appeared on the News Quiz, Have I Got News for You and QI. She is currently writing a book and making series two of her Radio 4 show.

Bridget does not wear her feminism lightly. She’ll be talking about gender inequality, why she refuses to swoon at a man holding a tray with a yoghurt on, and why she isn’t grateful that British sexism is better than Saudi Arabian sexism.

Join her for an impassioned and hilarious look at the world of gender equality and feminism through the eyes of someone working in a male-orientated profession, and a last chance to catch this award-winning show.

She is at the Maidenhead venue on Wednesday, September 10 at 8pm. Tickets are £14. Suitable for ages 16+ years. Call 01628 788997 or go to www.nordenfarm.org.
