TWO men who torched vehicles in Lane End and High Wycombe last year have been jailed.

Shakeel Mahmood, 20, of Spearing Road, High Wycombe, was sentenced to three years and three months in prison.

Habib Ulrehman, 28, of Rutland Avenue, High Wycombe, was jailed for two years and nine months.

PC Chris Flowers said: “I am happy that the two people responsible have received significant sentences for their actions.

“I would also like to thank the victims for their patience whilst this matter has been investigated given the considerable disruption and financial impact as a result of their vehicles being destroyed.”

The pair was sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday after they pleaded guilty to a string of arson attacks at an earlier court hearing.

They set fire to a BMW X5, a Fiat Punto and a Citroen Berlingo van in Lane End before torching a Seat Ibiza and a Mini in Crest Road in High Wycombe during the early hours of May 4 last year.
