HISTORY fans will have to try not to lose their heads for a talk by a TV historian on the excavation of Henry VIII's Hampton Court Palace next week.
Organised by Marlow Archaeology, it will take place in Liston Hall’s Garden Room on September 11 at 8pm, and offers the opportunity to go behind the scenes of the palace.
Ian Franklin, a State Apartment Warder at the Palace for 17 years, will also discuss the 'Knight Hospitaller' on the site before the palace and the discovery of King Henry VIII’s bowling alley in a Time Team TV dig.
Entrance to the event is £4.00 for non-members.
