WAR heroes from Beaconsfield will be remembered during a poignant talk open to the public, this month.
Beaconsfield Society member Kari Dorme and St Marys and All Saints Church Reverend Jeremy Brooks will both give presentations on the stories behind the names.
The ‘Beaconsfield WWI heroes and their memorials’ talk will be on Wednesday, September 24 from 2.30pm at Beaconsfield Library.
Half of the talk will be from Kari Dorme on the details of all heroes named on the town’s war memorial.
Rev Brooks will then make mention of all troops honoured inside the church.
This follows a special commemoration of the start of WWI in August, when organisers campaigned to research details of Beaconsfield war heroes.
