A HEARING dog helped raise money by joining charity volunteers on a walk along the length of Hadrian's Wall.
Volunteers for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, Faye Fulton and Eddy Wilson, were joined by hearing dog, Rosie during the 84 mile walk.
They raised £1,115 for the charity based in Saunderton. Eddy, from Wooburn Green, is a bed and breakfast volunteer, who gives a home to a dog in training (in the evenings and weekends) and Faye, from Marlow, is a socialising volunteer- she socialised Rosie (who now lives with her).
Faye and Rosie have recently started giving demonstrations of the sound-work the dogs are trained to do. Eddy’s grandson is deaf, so the issue of hearing loss is very much close to her heart.
