A MAN was killed on a building site in Marlow Bottom this week after construction equipment fell on top of him.
The man, who was in his 40s, was working on renovating a house in Marlow Bottom Road on Wednesday when the accident happened.
It's understood he was crushed by a digger during the incident, which occurred at around 1.10pm.
Emergency crews rushed to the building site after the alarm was raised, but he was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
The man's next of kin have been informed of his death, Thames Valley Police said yesterday.
The tragic incident has been referred to the Health and Safety Executive, who are working alongside Thames Valley Police to establish the exact circumstances of what happened.
Police say the matter is currently being treated as an unexplained death.
It's understood the man was the owner of the house, which is near the junction with Andrews Way, and was working on renovating the property himself.
