THE funeral of tragic motorcyclist Lloyd Mitchell is to take place next week.

The 18-year-old died in a collision with a car in High Wycombe last Wednesday when he was on his way home from work.

His funeral will take place on Friday, September 26, at the Amersham Crematorium.

A procession will begin from Lloyd's home in Bowerdean Road, High Wycombe, at 10.15am, with the funeral service scheduled to begin at 10.45am.

Following the service a celebration of Lloyd's life will be held at one of his favourite pubs, the King George V in London Road, High Wycombe.

His family are encouraging mourners to attend the service wearing either a hoodie or a cap - two items of clothing that he always wore.

Lloyd's family also said they wanted to thank people for the flowers and kind wishes they had received from people since his death.

A website to raise money for a memorial bench and plaque to be put up near the scene of the accident has also been set up by the family, while a donation box will be put up at the funeral service.
