ASPIRING golfers in South Bucks will join the chairman of the District Council in playing 18 holes for charity next month.

Guests will join SBDC Cllr Santokh Chhokar on Friday, October 10, at The South Buckinghamshire Golf Course, in a bid to raise money for charities within the district.

Cllrs aim to raise money for Padstones, a charity which helps young people at risk, South Bucks Citizens Advice Bureau and other local charities, they say.

The day will start at about 8am and finish around 4.30pm, with lunch, prize giving and an auction following the day's golf.

Teams will be given a free practice round before the charity golf day, plus a goodie bag on the day. Entry is limited to 18 teams on a first come, first served basis.

Entry fee is £150 per team of three players, and includes breakfast, 18 holes of golf and a two-course lunch Sponsorship opportunities are also available and are being offered on the day, while individuals and businesses can also support the event by offering a suitable prize for the raffle or auction.
