MORE than 100 visitors turned up at the Chilterns Shopping Centre for the re-opening of the Wycombe Environment Centre.
The centre has moved to the town centre and was officially opened on September 20 by chairman of Wycombe District Council, Lesley Clarke.
She was introduced by Frances Alexander, chair of trustees at the centre.
The exhibition of the seven facets of sustainable living attracted interest, as did the bird display.
WEC is now open 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm Sundays. The centre is a charity and is staffed entirely by volunteers and more are needed.
If you are interested in volunteering, phone 01494 526667 or e-mail office@ecobuzz.org.uk.
