NEW Christmas lights will adorn the streets of Princes Risborough this year.
Through grants and match funding the festival committee has managed to secure £5,000 to spend on new festive lights.
The money won't cover all the lights in the town, but should be able to deck Duke Street and Market Square with festive cheer.
Richard Stevenson has been re-elected as the festival committee chairman.
He spoke at Princes Risborough Town Council meeting on Tuesday night about the costs the summer festival faces and how they operate on a budget.
Next year they would like to see bunting return to the streets. Ideally they would also like to buy new tents, but these would be very expensive.
They also fund the Christmas lights switch on in the town.
