AMERSHAM'S role in the First World War forms the subject of a series of exhibitions that will be touring the town.
Photographs, oral histories, displays of objects and documents and hands-on activities will all feature in the Amersham at War exhibition.
It's been put together by the Amersham Museum to commemorate the centenary of the start of the war.
The exhibition starts at St Michael's Church in Sycamore Road on Saturday, October 4 and runs until October 22.
From Friday, October 24-Wednesday, November 5 it will be held at Little Chalfont Library in Cokes Lane, before moving on to the Amersham Museum in High Street from Saturday, November 8-Sunday 23.
The exhibition is complemented by a wide range of activities, including talks, walks, craft and research sessions.
