POLICE have released further details about a five vehicle collision in Beaconsfield yesterday, where a cyclist was injured.
At 3pm police were called to Park Lane, which was closed between Candlemas Lane to the roundabout which connects with London Road and Wycombe End, until 4.40pm.
Connie Primmer said: "The driver of the first vehicle appeared to have lost control of a car- possibly due to a medical episode.
"A cyclist was injured but their injuries are not thought to be life threatening."
The cyclist was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital by air ambulance.
One appliance and fire crew from Beaconsfield attended and firefighters gave first aid to a man.
The cars involved in the collision were a Renault Clio, a Nissan Qashqai, a BMW Touring, a Volkswagen Sharan and a Suzuki SX4.
No-one was arrested or reported.
