A SERIES of road and pavement improvements continue this week despite bad weather hampering council crews last week.

Transport For Buckinghamshire says further wet weather could cause further delays to the works for this week.

However, work planned for this week for South Bucks is as follows:

Night time surfacing work with a road closure

Daytime ironwork reinstatement work carried out using local traffic management

Tuesday 21 October – Thursday 23 October: Wycombe Road/Wiltshire Road, Marlow
Daytime ironwork reinstatement work carried out using temporary traffic lights

Friday 24 October – Tuesday 28 October (including the weekend): Martinsend Lane, Prestwood

TfB asks for road users' and residents' cooperation and understanding whilst these essential maintenance works are carried out.

Crews also request that vehicles are not parked on the road or footway when work is due to take place.
