A 100-YEAR-OLD resident continued her good work in Bourne End last month by introducing another addition to the village.
Jean Jones was given the duty of cutting the ribbon on a new look pharmacy, just weeks after she was the guest of honour as volunteers welcomed a new community minibus.
Mrs Jones, who celebrated her birthday in July, officially opened the doors to the new look LloydsPharmacy in The Parade, on Tuesday, October 14.
The village stalwart was also on hand to cut the ribbon on the new £30,000 Wye Valley Volunteers minibus in early September.
The chairman of the WVV, Douglas Fergusson, also attended the latest opening as a former GP.
