THE night skies of south Bucks will be exploding with fireworks displays over the coming weeks as we head toward November 5.

Here is a round-up of the main events taking place across the area.

PRINCES RISBOROUGH: A Bonfire and Firework Event organised by the Rotary Club of Princes Risborough will have a Halloween themed flavour. It will be held in School Playing Field , Princes Risborough, and starts at 5pm. Tickets in advance from Risborough Information Centre Adults £4 Child £2 Family (2+3) £12

November 1

BEACONSFIELD - Fireworks and bonfire spectacular at Beaconsfield Cricket Club. Gates are open from 6pm and fireworks are from 7.45pm. Tickets are available on the night from £5. For more information please visit www.beaconsfieldfireworks.co.uk/when.html COOKHAM - Cookham Scouts Group’s annual fireworks display at Formosa Meadow, Mill Lane, Cookham. Refreshments for sale. Gates open 5.30pm, bonfire lighting at 6pm, fireworks at 7pm.

FLACKWELL HEATH- A bonfire and firework display at the end of Chapel Road. Organised by the Village Bonfire Association, gates will open from 6pm. There will be a "Best Guy" competition and refreshments on offer. Advanced tickets can be purchased from the village schools, shops and cafes for £5. £7 on the day and Under 5s go free.

GERRARDS CROSS- The Memorial Centre, in East Common, will host a firework display from 6pm until 9pm.

GREAT MISSENDEN - Bonfire and Firework Extravaganza at Great Missenden C of E School, Church Street. The fireworks will be displayed to music while there will also be fairground rides. Gates open at 5.30pm. Advance tickets available from the school office, Samways Newsagent and Cafe Twit and cost £5.50 for adults, £3.50 for children or £16 for a family ticket for two adults and three children. Tickets on the gate are £6.50, £4.50 and £22.

HIGH WYCOMBE - The High Wycombe Round Table is once more holding its annual fireworks event on top of four Ashes Field in High Wycombe, with more fireworks to be set off than every. It aims to raise as much for charity as possible through the sale of tickets and beer on the night. It aims to be of the biggest firework events in the area. Entrance costs £6 on foot, car pre sale £15, car on night £20. Gates Open at 5pm and the bonfire will be lit at 6pm.

LATIMER - Family Fireworks by the Lake at Latimer Park, near Chesham. Gates open 6.30pm, event set to run until 9pm. Tickets £8, £5 for under 12s and free entry to children under 2. For tickets go to http://civicrm.restorehopelatimer.com/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=19.

MARLOW Sports club holds its ‘Monster Monster Fireworks’ show, starting at 6pm at the Pound Lane club. Opportunities to try different sports on offer at the club. Bar available. Advance tickets from sports club bar from 8-10pm and Marlow Information Centre. £8 (£7 adv), juniors 4-18 £5 (£6). 3 and under free.

PRESTWOOD - The Annual Bonfire Night organised by local Scout Groups will take place on Saturday 1st November, in Wren Davis Field, Wycombe Road Prestwood, by kind permission of Wren Davis. There will be a Huge Bonfire, Refreshments and Fantastic Fireworks. Gates open 6.15pm Bonfire lighting 7.00pm. Tickets £4.00 single, £9 .00 for family, in advance from JNP Estate Agents of Prestwood, Prestwood Post Office, Spar of Great Kingshill and Samways of Great Missenden. November 2

CHALFONT St Peter - Scout-run stalls and games, music and barbecue at the Scout Hut grounds in Gravel Hill. Gates open at 5pm, bonfire lit at 5:30pm. Admission £6 for adults, £4 children and £18 for a family group.

HOLTSPUR - A family friendly display in Holtspur will give Beaconsfield firework fans a second option next weekend. The display will start at 6pm and finish 20 minutes later. The display, which organisers say is great for children, will cost adults on the night £5.50 and tickets will be £4.50 for children. For more information please visit www.holtspurschoolpta.org.uk

November 5

DOWNLEY - The annual bonfire and torchlight procession will be lighting up the evening from 6.30pm.

FOXES Piece School in Marlow holds its annual display with gates at 6pm. Food and funfair rides. Adults £6, children £3

November 7

CHESHAM - fireworks show at Chesham United Football Club, The Meadow, Amy Lane. Gates and bar open at 6pm, display begins at 7.30pm. Adult tickets £7, under 18s £5, under 5s free entry. Family tickets for two adults and two children are available for £20 from the Chess Suite at the ground.

GREAT KINGSHILL - Fabulous Fireworks night at the corner of Cockpit Road and Missenden Road. Gates open at 6pm, bonfire lit at 6.30pm and fireworks begin at 7pm. Tickets cost £5 per person on the gate or £15 for a group of four if bought in advance from Spar or Cryers Hill Post Office.

HIGH WYCOMBE - Fireworks will be launching from the Hamilton Academy in Hampden Road, High Wycombe. Gates open 6pm, fireworks at 7pm. Single tickets only available on gate subject to availability £7. November 8

AMERSHAM - Amersham and Chesham Lions Club Fireworks at Amersham Hill Cricket Club, Woodside Road. Gates open at 6:15pm, fireworks start at 7pm. Tickets cost £5 for adults and £2 for children.

CHALFONT ST GILES - Magic in the Sky at Stone Meadow. Gates open at 5.45pm, bonfire will be lit at 6.15pm, fireworks begin at 7pm. Tickets £7 for adults, £4 for children and free for under threes, and £18 for a family of two adults and two children if bought in advance. Tickets on the gate are £8, £5 and £21 for a family.

COOKHAM Dean - Village fireworks on Cookham Dean Village Green. 5pm to 9pm. Children's lantern parade, fairground rides, bar and food available.

MARLOW Bottom Fireworks Extravaganza 2014 returns in aid of the Playing Fields Committee and Burford School. Gates at 5.30pm and fireworks at 7pm. Family friendly, with side shows, bar, food and music. Tickets from Marlow Information Centre, Longhurst's in Brucewood Parade or www.marlowbottomfireworks.com. £5 for u13s (under 4s free), £6 adults and £20 for family group. Book early to avoid disappointment

NAPHILL Firework Display on the Crick - The bonfire will be lit at 6pm and the fireworks will start at 7pm. Tickets, adults £5 in advance or £7 on the day; children’s tickets will be £1.50 in advance or £2 on the day. A bar, BBQ and refreshments available. Please no sparklers. Under 5s free. Tickets are sold at local shops for this very popular event.

PENN - A fabulous Fire 'n' Fireworks takes place at Penn School, complete with a barbeque and other refreshments on sale including mulled wine. Pedestrian access only, and sparklers are not permitted. Admission from 6pm, bonfire at 7pm and fireworks at 7.30pm. Adults £6, Under 16s £4, Under 5s - free. SPEEN - Bonfire Night celebrations will be held on the Playing Fields at 6pm.

STUDLEY GREEN - Stokenchurch Scouts and Guides will be holding the display at Studley Green Community Centre Field. The gates open at 6pm and visitors can warm themselves at the bonfire, which will be lit at 6:30pm, before the fireworks start at 7pm. There will also be a BBQ and stalls selling glowing accessories. Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for children and can be bought at the gate. A free community bus will be running from Kings Hotel from 6:00pm.
