GOLFERS brightened up a cloudy day in Loudwater last week, as members took to the course wearing pink clothes.

Wycombe Heights Golf Club, in Rayners Avenue, invited their golfers and members to wear an item of pink clothing to help raise money and awareness of the Breast Cancer Campaign.

The club got involved as part of a national ‘Wear it pink’ day, which was billed as ‘Britain’s biggest, pinkest fundraising day’.

One in eight women in the UK will develop breast cancer in their lifetime and around 12,000 people lose their battle with the disease ever year.

Breast Cancer Campaign, the foundation behind ‘Wear it Pink’ aim to provide every patient with the best treatment, information and support.
