SCHOOL children were given an early Halloween treat last week as their scarily good work was rewarded.
In a competition organised by the Community Library in Chapel Road, Flackwell Heath, children were asked to either write a story or paint a picture.
Aged 11 and under, the youngsters left the library smiling on Friday, October 24, with lots of prizes including books, goodies and for some a family ticket to Odds Farm Park.
They were also given a Halloween-themed bucket to collect even more prizes today (Friday, October 31).
Pupils from both Carrington Junior School, in Flackwell Heath, and The Meadows Combined School, Wooburn Green, appeared to be happy to see all their hard work paid off.
