GRIEVING families have the chance to light a candle and reflect on the loss of loved ones this weekend at a special evening service.
All Saints Church in Marlow holds its annual All Souls service on Sunday, dedicated to the memory of all those lost in the last 12 months.
One of the most moving occasions of the year, mourners can light a candle in memory of a loved one and place it at the front of the large parish church as a symbol of remembrance.
With several high profile funerals held at the Causeway church in the last 12 months – including the packed service after the tragic death of teenager Kyrece Francis – Rev Dave Bull and his team are expecting a large turnout.
The service starts at 6.30pm, with All Saints open from 5pm until midnight for anyone who wants to spend some time in more secluded reflection.
