POLICE are hunting a burglar who managed to walk away from a Bourne End house with a 42 inch TV before using stolen bank cards a cash machine nearby.

Around 2pm on Monday, November 17, a house in Millside was targeted by a burglar who gained entry by forcing the front door.

Once inside, a 42in TV, a laptop and a purse were stolen.

The stolen cards were then used a the Bourne End branch of Lloyds Bank around 2.40pm.

And police want to speak to anyone who may have seen the culprit at the machine, or earlier taking the huge television from the house.

PC David Cannon, of Local CID in High Wycombe, said: “We are appealing for any witnesses who saw anything suspicious in and around the Millside area around 2pm on Monday.

“We know the bank cards from the burglary were then used on the cash point at the Bourne End branch of Lloyds Bank at around 2.40pm on the same day, where the suspect would have been at the cash point for a number of minutes and had used numerous cards on them.

“So if you saw anything or anyone acting suspiciously then please call Thames Valley Police on 101."
