A burglar who stole a television, purse and laptop from a home in Bourne End went on to use the victims bank cards at a cash point in the village.

Police are appealing for any witnesses including people who may have seen the thief use the cards at the Lloyds Bank cash point in The Parade.

The intruder entered the Millside property through the front door at about 2pm on Monday, November 17.

A purse, laptop and 42in television were taken.

PC David Cannon, of Local CID in High Wycombe, said: “We are appealing for any witnesses who saw anything suspicious in and around the Millside area around 2pm on Monday.

“We know the bank cards from the burglary were then used on the cash point at the Bourne End branch of Lloyds Bank at around 2.40pm on the same day, where the suspect would have been at the cash point for a number of minutes and had used numerous cards on them.

“So if you saw anything or anyone acting suspiciously then please call Thames Valley Police on 101.”
