Mourners gathered in Marlow to pay their respects to two young men who passed away in a fatal crash earlier this month.

Family and friends attended a funeral service for Daniel Horton and Aaron Savin, both 21 years old, who died in a car crash in Beaconsfield on Tuesday, November 11.

The service was held on Tuesday at All Saints Church, in Marlow.

Mr Horton, of Hillside Road, Marlow, worked as a landscape gardener and has been described as a “polite, caring young man”.

Mr Savin, of The Bramblings, Amersham, studied with Mr Horton at Berkshire College of Agriculture, and was a part time model and actor who worked with cars.

Both men died at the scene when the BMW 328 coupe they were travelling in was involved in a crash with a silver Ford MPV.

A man and woman in the Ford, who were both in their sixties, were taken to John Radcliffe Hospital with serious injuries.

Dozens of floral tributes were left on Whippas Hill where the crash happened at around 10.30pm.

An inquest into the pair’s death has been opened and adjourned.
