Shops and businesses in Bourne End have joined forces with the Community Association and the Rotary Club of Cookham Bridge to hold a charity fun night next week.
All residents are invited to the event which will encompass both The Parade and Wakeman Road from 5pm on Friday, December 5.
As well as shops offering some retail therapy there will also be a lot of entertainment with bouncy castles and a funfair on offer for some of the younger visitors.
People of all ages will be able to join in the fun though, and there will even be a donkey on hand for people to guess where Pooh Corner will be.
As well as the many businesses involved, community groups such as the WI and youth club will be doing their bit for the village.
