Pupils, teachers and volunteers planted seven trees in their Wycombe school garden after securing a grant from The Tree Council.
Booker Hill Primary and Nursery School received a grant from the Trees for Schools Fund earlier this year.
Seven trees were planted in the Field Road school’s grounds. Pupils researched the types of trees they would like to see planted, enlisting the help of Tony Speight, the Chiltern Ranger based in High Wycombe.
Volunteers from Red Kite Housing, Booker Common and Woods Protection Society and Friends of Booker Hill joined the school’s Eco-Club pupils and staff to plant the trees on Thursday, December 4.
