Former pupils at a Little Chalfont school are looking to get in touch with more old girls for a celebration next year.

More than half of Dr Challoner's High School's class of 1973 have been contacted by organisers of a get-together planned for next year.

But it's hoped even more can be tracked down in time for the event, which will take place in the year most of the former pupils will turn 60.

Organiser Gill Hudgell said: "We must be a pretty friendly bunch as several of us have stayed in touch ever since leaving school. Despite having settled all over the world, we get together quite often and we have held several reunions over the years.

"As next year is quite a milestone, we are very keen to contact everyone that we possibly can to make this reunion really special. We will be getting together over afternoon tea and fizz at the school in Little Chalfont in September 2015.

"There will also be guided tours of the school to show how much it has grown over the years and even meet some teachers too."

Organisers of the knees-up want more former pupils who either did their A levels at the Cokes Lane school in 1973 or left after doing their O levels in 1971 to get in touch with them.
