Burglary victims had to jump from their balcony to escape two men who had forced their way into a London Road property yesterday.

The three men in the home were threatened by the burglars who forcefully entered the property shortly before 12.10am yesterday.

According to officers they hit the victims with weapons and demanded cash and other items.

The victims fled the property by jumping from the first floor balcony following the altercation.

The victims were aged 24, 26 and 35, with the latter being taken to hospital after suffering bruising to his leg following the fall while the 26-year-old suffered a cut lip.

The two males left the scene in a vehicle.

The first burglar is described as a light-skinned black male, aged about 25-years-old, about 5ft 8ins and of medium build.

He had short dark hair and stubble and he was wearing dark-coloured clothing.

The second male was white, about 5ft 7ins and was a slimmer build. He was wearing a white or yellow coloured hooded top.

Det Con Christopher Hatton from High Wycombe CID said: “Two offenders forced their way into the house and attacked the victims with weapons demanding cash and property.

“The victims fought the offenders off before fleeing the premises by jumping from the first floor balcony.”
