Gerrards Cross Parish Council has enlisted the help of a village taxi company to help transport residents over the age of 60 get to medical appointments.
For a number of years the council have operated a Taxi Concessionary Fares Scheme to help fund and transport people in need of medical services.
And, chairman of the council, Councillor Chris Brown, has welcomed in a new era in 2015 by signing a deal with local firm Aspire Executive Taxis, based next to Gerrards Cross Railway Station in Station Approach.
