A superstar of the jazz world arrived in Marlow last week for a one-off gig to a packed audience.

World-renowned saxophonist Jean Touissant entertained crowds at the Royal British Legion last Tuesday.

Originally from St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands, Jean came to International attention when he joined the Art Blakey Jazz Messengers in the 1980s.

He was accompanied by the resident band the Frank Toms trio.

Marlow Jazz Club meets on Tuesdays, with a full programme of live music. For more information visit www.marlowjazz.co.uk
