A school pupil in Chalfont St Peter is looking forward to a trip to a toy shop after winning a contest on what to call a new care home.

But from a shortlist of three suggestions submitted by Robertswood School in Denham Lane, one stood out – ‘Woodland Manor’, suggested by Hettie Ridout, was chosen as the name for the new home, run by the Porthaven Care Group.

Hettie was awarded a £50 Toys ‘R’ Us voucher, while the two runners-up, George Monger and Harvey Wonnacott, were awarded a £25 gift voucher each.

Sean Kime, Commercial Director for Porthaven said: "Well done Hettie and Robertswood. At Porthaven, we always look to the heart of the communities that we serve. Families are important to all of us and it is fantastic for us to be involved with Robertswood School in this way, and we hope that this relationship will continue into the future."

Robertswood School was also given £100 worth of book tokens as thanks from Porthaven for coordinating the challenge with their pupils
