A man has died after his car left the road and hit a tree near Beaconsfield.

Around 1.30am on Sunday morning, a black Vauxhall Vectra left the road on a bend and struck a tree on the A355 northbound carriageway between Farnham Royal and Beaconsfield.

The occupant, a man in his mid-forties, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said yesterday his next of kin were yet to be informed.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the incident or the vehicle prior to or after the incident, to call investigating officer, PC Kelly Hobson of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Bicester Roads Policing on the 24-hour non-emergency number, 101.
