An e-fit has been released of a man wanted in connection with an attempted bank robbery in Marlow earlier this month.

Police have also revealed that the culprit may have had an accomplice, after officers said he fled in the passenger seat of the Audi used in the attempted robbery.

The image of a white man follows CCTV images last week of raid on Lloyds Bank, in High Street, on Tuesday, January 6.

At around 9.45am on a man got out of the front passenger seat of a black Audi in High Street and entered Lloyds Bank.

He threatened a cash in transit worker who was carrying out a delivery and attempted to steal a cash box.

Nothing was stolen and no one was injured in the incident.

The man fled empty-handed, got back inside the black Audi and the car drove away.

Officers say they would like to speak to the man depicted in the E-fit because he might be able to assist with their investigation.

Investigating officer, Det Con Nathan Davey, from High Wycombe Force CID, said: “We are appealing for any further witnesses to this serious offence and for anyone who may recognise the man shown in the E-fit.”

Anyone with information should call Thames Valley Police on 101.
