NHS staff will no longer go on strike tomorrow following several meetings with Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt to resolve disputes over pay.
Unison has suspended a planned strike for its health workers, which was due to take place between 9am and 9pm.
In addition to the planned strike this week, Unison was also planning a four-week work to rule, followed by a 24-hour strike on Wednesday, February 25.
The Royal College of Midwives and GMB have also confirmed they will suspend strike action planned for this Thursday.
