A former interiors shop has been revealed as the new location for a gastropub heading to Marlow, after early plans emerged this month.
Living in Store, at 48 West Street, is understood to be the subject of a deal currently with solicitors for an "upmarket" eatery.
Sources have revealed the firm behind the new pub will spend "big money" on converting the premises.
Earlier this month catering recruitment agency ITK posted an advertisement for a general manager of a new gastropub, but would not release the details as the plan is yet to receive the green light.
If it goes ahead, the new eatery will join diner chain Bill’s which is due to open this spring, as well as French chain Cote Brasserie and Giggling Squid which have opened on the same stretch in the last year.
Pub landlord Mick Kellas, of the Cross Keys, has questioned whether any new pubs are needed in Marlow.
