Attackers knocked a man to the ground, punched and kicked him before running off with his phone and cash last week.

The 21-year-old victim was walking in an alleyway between Hughenden Avenue and Bellfield Road at around 7pm on Tuesday, February 24, when two men hit him from behind.

He was knocked to the ground and the attackers kicked and punched him in the face before making off in the direction of Hughenden Avenue with his Nokia Lumia phone and cash.

The victim was treated at Wycombe General and Stoke Mandeville after suffering bruising to the back of his head and nose, concussion and an injury to his right eye.   

The first offender is white, in his teens, around 5ft 6ins and medium build. He was wearing a dark jacket, which had ‘Duffer’ written across the chest and a white scarf covering the lower part of his face.

The other offender is described as mixed race or Asian, also in his teens and around 5ft 6ins and slim.

He was wearing green trousers and a dark hoodie with the hood up and cords pulled tight to cover his face.

Both the attackers had local accents.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses who might be able to help find the attackers.
