An actor from Iver Heath passed away last week with friends from a village drama club praising his energy and work in the community.

Brin Rosser joined Iver Heath Drama Club in the mid-1980s and later appeared in a number of professional films, including V for Vendetta, Off We Go Then and Hourglass.

The former club president also directed, produced and starred in many IHDC productions over the years.

And, friend Matt Streuli has this week praised Mr Rosser, recalling many fond memories from the last four decades.

He said: “Brin had retired from IHDC with some ill health but continued with some professional work, visiting family by the coast and hosting tours of Wembley Stadium.

“I have many fond memories of Brin with his passion and energy for drama in our community and was never frightened of experimentation too.

“I once appeared in a play called “In Room Five Hundred and Four” which, thanks to Brin and my co-star Claire Freeman, was a play I fell deeply in love with.”

He added that the death of his friend had inspired him to look back through their archive material, dating back to 1954.
