Parents hoping to take their children swimming in Marlow during the school holidays will have to go elsewhere after a pool closure was announced.

The swimming pool at Court Garden Leisure Centre will be shut from this Saturday, for what the centre calls “essential repairs”.

It will re-open on Saturday, April 25.

A spokesman for operators Places For People said: “As part of our continued maintenance programme we have identified a number of essential repairs required to the swimming pool tank.

“During this period you will of course be able to use the Swimming Pools at our other sites within the Wycombe contract.”

Places for People, which runs the centre for Wycombe District Council, will also close the ladies dryside changing rooms over this period to replace the floor.

Swimmers will now have to travel to Wycombe Sports Centre at Handy Cross or Risborough Springs in Wades Park, Princes Risborough, to access council pools.

The rest of Court Garden will remain open during the period.
