Motorists using the A413 had a shock after four runaway horses made it out onto the carriageway.
The escaped equines were able to get out onto the road at Chalfont St Giles on Sunday after strong winds blew down a fence keeping them on farmland in Vache Lane.
When their escape was initially reported to police the horses had managed to cross the A413 and into Mill Lane, before they made their way back onto the main road.
A specially trained livestock team from Thames Valley Police then arrived on the scene to round the runaways up and take them back to their owner.
